OUTSIDE WHOLESALE SALES REPS WANTED. Koru Swimwear is an earth-friendly swimwear and apparel manufacturer that sells upscale swimwear made of recycled fabric and apparel made from sustainable fabrics. We are looking for seasoned and self-motivates outside sales reps to sell our line to retailers. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of experience working as a sales representative and must be open to traveling. The qualified candidate will possess exceptionally strong communication skills and preferably have previous professional relationships with specialty boutiques and/or department stores. This is a full time position. Distributors are welcome. Commission only.

Sales Opportunity Description:

:: Interact with current customers via phone/email/in-store visits regarding placing new / existing orders.
:: Prepare and present samples for trade shows and presentations and keep inventory log of all samples.
:: Develop and strengthen relationships with customers from top departments stores and high end boutiques.
:: Maintain an orderly system for planning, coordination, follow-through, and completion of tasks.
:: Working knowledge of retail math, sales planning, Excel and Retail POS is a plus.
:: Ability to understand priorities and the sense of urgency of the business, adjusting directions/scheduling when necessary to meet store needs and the demands of the business.
:: Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
:: Create and promote a friendly, professional environment with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
:: Resolve customer complaints by understanding the problems and making recommendations.
:: Reviews sell thru of specific styles, resolving problems and/or complaints.
:: Research, monitor, and expand distribution in specific areas that sales growth is needed.
:: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling trade show appointments, organizing road sales, answering all distribution and/or product development questions.


:: Self-motivated individual who works well independently and as part of a team.
:: Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
:: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. (Word/Excel/Outlook)
:: 2+ years of wholesale experience with specialty boutiques or equivalent.
:: A passion for selling & positive attitude and personality.
Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and follow direction.
:: Understanding of retail environment and merchandising.
Traveling to trade shows and road work are required.
:: Excellent relationship building skills and communication skills, both speaking and writing.
:: Organized, persuasive, confident, self motivated and excellent problem solving skills.
:: Ability to manage multiple lines, open new accounts, maintain/build on existing accounts.
:: Familiarity with the brand and production schedules.

Compensation: 15% Commission

We are looking for individuals who already have a base of other similar apparel lines and would like to add another line to their base of clients.
