Sales Opportunity Description:
Steel Design Solutions is looking for sales reps to promote a patented product designed to support kitchen counter tops. This product currently has no pure-play competitors.


Job Description


Responsible for generating revenue and/or profit margin within assigned territory. Insures high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.


Essential Functions of Job

•Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the company

•Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors

•Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers

•Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts

•Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses

•Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

•Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments

•Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management

•Work cross-functionally to develop partnerships with entire company to ensure company resources are focused to maximize marketplace opportunities.



Education and Qualifications:

Excellent communication – verbal and written – is required

Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in our environment

Demonstrated ability to develop relationships Strong organizational and follow-through skills

High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
