An ArthriFon® Vibroacoustic (Bio Sound) therapeutic medical device works by generating sound vibrations (energy), using microprocessor, in varying frequencies and through small headphone-like devices (transducers), called vibraphones emitted that sound energy to the joints for alleviation of pain.
Our body consists of cells. They naturally vibrate different sound frequencies which can be seen on oscilloscope with use of tiny probe installed and connected with help of electron scanning microscope ( Super high resolution microscope). The different group of cell has different physical dimensions and vibrate with a different resonant frequencies.
This amazing discovery was made in University of South California few years ago. It was find out what each cell vibrate with it own frequencies. When disease develops, cell vibration can change it own vibration frequency.
In joints systems fragments of cartilage ( consist mostly from protein) molecules attach to a synovial capsule membrane. In most cases it create inflammation. If any thing attached to cell membranes the cell changed it?s physical dimension. Normally, inflated cells get bigger and mechanically push lager amount of nerve sensors.
That nerves sensors (receptors) send electrical signal to brain via nerves "wires" to tell what you have pain. When one cell sending a small signal you probably cannot feel any thing, but when billions of sensors send pain signals you feel sharp pain. If cell get inflamed, the cell self resonant frequencies of that cell is changed too. For example cancer cells sound differently than normal cells because they lager in size and resonate in lower frequencies
When sound from vibraphones reaches a body cells, it forces them to vibrate with a frequencies what they produced that in other words it shakes them up. The fragments of distracted cartilage cell separate from synovial membrane. Under force of sound vibration those fragments of cartilage cell disintegrate to the molecular level and removed from synovial capsule (your joint) by increasing blood circulation. When it happens the pain will be gone. If cartilage will damage more it will be no cause for the pain.
